Emzinoni Police helped to trace and facilitate the repatriation of the deceased body back to Swaziland.
The woman was said to have passed on while staying with her boyfriend.
According to the police information, the two lovers only dated for two months, and as such the boyfriend did not know the deceased family. The report at the police disposal states that the deceased died while sleeping.
When the boyfriend realized that she was not moving, he tried to wake her up.
He then asked for help from the neighbours and he also reported to the police. Emzinoni Police Spokesperson, Const Cynthia Mtshweni was briefed by the charge office and that her family is not known.
Const Mtshweni took it upon herself to search for the family or relatives of the deceased. She further approached Swart Bethal Funeral Services to accommodate the body while the police are still looking for the family. “Luckily I got the deceased passport and contacted Port of Entry at Oshoek.
Through the passport, we managed to trace the deceased relatives,” said Const Mtshweni who also thanked Swart Funeral Services for making things easier for them and also for giving back to the community.
Finally the body was repatriated back to Swaziland and she was afforded a dignified funeral.
