On the last day of the Women’s Month, Evander Magistrate Court hosted a high tea women event on Thursday, 31 August 2023.
The purpose of the event was to promote women’s unity, regardless of where they are stationed.
The event also aimed to inspire and speak to women about growth.
“We need each other to be more powerful and with that, we need to share wisdom and powerful words to support each other,” said Ms Eljoh Van Eeden, Area court manager.
The beautiful women in hats shared different topics.
Ms. N. Mdlankomo spoke to the stunning women after accepting the request to be the keynote speaker.
Ndlankomo emphasized the importance of a smile and how it can change one’s mood.
“When you get a chance to speak everything out, do that,” said Mdlankomo.
She further stated the importance of greeting each other at the workplace.
“Just by greeting and asking about life, one can get the chance to express everything happening within their life,” said Mdlankomo.
Lastly, Mdlankomo stated the importance of knowing your rights at the workplace whether a general worker, security officer or police officer.
