A certain woman was allegedly raped by three (3) different man in eMbalenhle, Ext 22 on Thursday, 19 January 2023 at about 17H00.
It is alleged that she was walking on the street when she came across three men who grabbed her and took her to their shack in Ext 22.
One of the perpetrators allegedly threw her on top of the bed and undressed her and himself too while others were preparing to undress themself while watching.
It is alleged that first and second perpetrators raped her with protection on while the last one he was not wearing anything to protect himself.
According to Const Busisiwe Mthethwa, a case of rape has been opened and police in eMbalenhle continue with their investigation.
“We are going to bring the perpetrators to book for this gruesome act.
The month of January has been a difficult one for South African women as they continue to be rapped, killed and abused by the men who are meant to protect them,” said Const Mthethwa referring to the rise of Gender Based Violence crimes in the last month.
