Emma’s Models hosted Mr. and Miss High School eMbalenhle on Saturday, 24 August 2024, at Sasol Recreation Club.
The aim of the event is to motivate and remind learners that no background should determine their future.
“eMbalenhle is an area where our future generation is influenced negatively about their future, so with my agency and pageants, I am ready to fight that pandemic,” said Cynthia Emma Mahlangu, founder of Mr. and Miss High School pageants.
The pageant featured models from various high schools in eMbalenhle and Evander High School.
Lesedi Molisa from Evander High School reigned the queen title after she was crowned Miss High School Embalenhle 2024, Lwandle Xaba from Sizwakele Secondary School as 1st princess, and Tibo Lefosa from Sizwakele Secondary School as 2nd princess.
Meanwhile, Siyabonga Ngcakaza from Sizwakele Secondary School reigned king after he was crowned Mr. High School Embalenhle 2024, Sihle Khanye from K.I. Twala Secondary School as 1st prince, and Mxolisi Hlatshwayo from Thomas Nhlabathi Secondary School as 2nd prince.
Mohau Ramela also banged himself a title as Mr. Ambassador and Lusanda Maseko as Miss Ambassador.
The new title holders promised to respect and cater for their duties as instructed by the management team.
