Charl Cilliers young fashion designer Lethukuthula Zulu used his talent to contribute towards Covid-19.

The Letter Fashion Design owner used fabric scraps to make masks for the elderly people in his area.

Zulu said he realized that masks are now becoming a necessity, but not everyone will be able to buy them.

“I decided to use the pieces of materials left when I made clothing to make masks,” said Zulu who further mentioned that his masks are washable and can be reused.

The excitement by elderly people was visible as they chose colours they love.

He also donated some to the petrol attendants and ordinary people on the streets.

Besides masks, Zulu also make sandals, leather bags, wood finish bags, African clothing, African earrings, new formal wear, street style wear and upholstery work.
