The Premier of Limpopo Provincial Government, Mr Stanley Mathabatha accompanied by the MEC for CoGHSTA Mr Basikopo Makamu launched the brand new low-cost housing units project in Tzaneen last week Friday, 31 July 2020.
According to MEC Makamu speaking to SAfm News Radio Station today, each shack costed R64 000 and 40 of them were handed over to the beneficiaries.
He further mentioned that the shack project is part of the Covid-19 temporary housing relief measures.
The projects was highly criticized by the public and was labelled as a waste of money.
