“At Little Harvard all children feel at home, they are loved, cared for and stimulated by the various learning activities,” said the Academy Manager, Ms Lebogang Motebejane.
Little Harvard is a 24 hour Kids Academy, based in Secunda.
It was established in 2015 by Ms Lucia Mabunda after seeing struggles faced by working parents.
“Secunda is a mining town and many parents work different shifts.
Sometimes when they work at night or on weekends, there is no one to take care of their children and they then bring their children here.
We accommodate every working parent.
Parents work in peace knowing that their children are well taken care off here at Little Harvard, we also have stay in teachers to assist with children who stay up till late” said the manager Ms Lebogang Motebejane.
The academy has three dedicated full time teachers and three assistant teachers.
Day to day schedule includes athletics, gymnastics, storytelling, attending classes, napping and bedtime storytelling.
Little Harvard takes children as little as three months to five years of age.
The academy uses the latest 2019 curriculum, from term 1 to term 4.
Ms Mabunda, who is also a CEO of Little Harvard gained a vast of knowledge and appeared on different television shows and was hosted by different radio stations.
She was a finalist on Making Moves SABC1, Mpumalanga Pitch and Polish and top 7 nationally, Mpumalanga Pitch and Perfect and top 20 nationally, she was featured in Sowetan Young Boss of the Year, was interviewed on SA fm and Ligwalagwala fm.


Little Harvard Kids Academy transformed its facilities to bring a new look and improved security features.
For complete peace of mind, there are CCTV cameras installed and and 24 hours security guards.
The academy also offers after care for school going learners, and also assisting them with homework.
