Mpumalanga Premier sworn in, Executive members of the council announced

Mpumalanga Premier elect Mr Mandla Ndlovu has been sworn in as the premier of the Mpumalanga province, today,18 June 2024. the swearing in ceremony follows after the election of Ndlovu was unopposed during the first sitting of the legislature on Friday, 14 June 2024. Judge president of the Mpumalanga Division of the High court, Justice Segopotje Mphahlele, administered the procedure. This marks the transition from the 6th to the 7th administration, following the 2024 National and Provincial elections.

After being sworn Ndlovu announced the members of the executive council as follows:

1. MEC of Health: Ms. Sasekani Janet Manzini

2. MEC of Education: Ms. Landulile Catherine Dlamini

3. MEC of Public Works Roads and Transport: Mr. Thulasizwe Simon Thomo

4.MEC of Social Development: Ms. Brenda Khethiwe Moeketsi

5. MEC of Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Enviromental Affairs: Ms. Nompumelelo Evidence Hlophe

6. MEC of Finance: Mr. Bonakele Amos Majuba

7. MEC of Economic Development and Tourism: Ms. Makhosazane Christine Masilela

8. M3C of Sports Arts and Culture:Mr. Fana Vincent Mlombo

9. MEC of Safety and Security: Mr Khesani Jackie Macie

10. MEC of Human Settlements and COGTA:Mr Speedy Katishi Mashilo
