Storm Ladies Academy players, parents, and management were in a good mood after a certain company donated to the team on Tuesday, 04 June 2024 at eMbalenhle
The eMbalenhle-based ladies’ team had been looking for such assistance, and a certain company came through for them.
Mr Neil, on behalf of the company, delivered the parcels, and Mr M.L Mngomezulu, the team’s manager and founder was thrilled about the initiative.
Storm Ladies Academy was established in 2018 by a qualified teacher with the goal of keeping ladies off the streets through football.
The team is completely opposed to gender-based violence (GBV), and we fight and campaign for women’s rights.
Due to lack of financial and support, the team has been unable to fully realize its vision and objective. However, the company has extended their helping hand by donating kits, soccer boots, shin guards, balls, and bibs, which will help them to fulfill everything that we anticipate for these young female players.
Mr. M.L Mngomezulu went on to express his gratitude to the company for all their assistance thus far.
