A 42-year-old suspect arrested for the murder of Kinross woman.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, he was arrested at a taxi rank en route to Johannesburg on 23 May 2025 at about 19:45pm.
His arrest came after a woman was found murdered at Kinross, Extension 21.
According to the police, a 34-year-old woman was found lying in a pool of blood, with visible blood stains on the walls.
She was said to have sustained a stab wound at the chest and visible head injuries, believed to have e been caused by bricks.
She was certified deceased at the scene by emergency medical services, and a clinic card found nearby confirmed that she was six months pregnant.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Evander Magistrate Court on Monday, 26 May 2025.
