As part of Sasol’s Take A Learner to School programme, this week Sasol Secunda hosted high school learners from two high schools: Evander High School and Highveld Park. The visit, which is organised in partnership with the Department of Education, offered the 120 learners an exciting opportunity to experience the Sasol plant, including a visit to a mock mine.
The aim of the Take a Learner to Work programme, which targets learners in Grade 10 and 11, is to expose learners to different career paths offered by Sasol and encourage them to take up Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.
Sasol continues to proudly invest in education initiatives and has established a wide range of programmes to support learners from Early Childhood Development, STEM learning to bursaries.
