There is nothing I did not try to better my life, I did piece jobs and tried to make small side business to make ends meet.”
The ambitious young entrepreneur said in 2017 he had an idea of making sofas from used tyres
“Initially it was very difficult because I had no money to buy the material needed to make the sofas, but with perseverance and determination I was able to officially open my business last year and I have not looked back.
I was even able to hire two people who were unemployed to help me run the business especially when I am working.”
Skhalo said his dream is to reach a wide target market in and around the Mpumalanga area and share his success with the unemployed youth in his area.
