Soccer players between the ages of 18 and 24 in Govan Mbeki Municipality were invited for free trials on Saturday, 10 August.
The aim of the invitation was to select 14 best players who will represent Mpumalanga in December during the German International Soccer Camp.
Coach Mayoyo, Former Orlando Pirates star turned coach, said he saw potential in all the chosen young soccer players.
He further mentioned that he will be coming back to intensify training and make sure that they are ready for December.
“I want to return here next week so that I can do coaching of the coaches and do coaching clinics of the players aged between 11 and 17.
The reason behind all this, is to enhance the development and football skills of these young boys who want to make it big one day”, said coach Mayoyo.
The 14 boys that were chosen will in December go to Johannesburg for a five days camp which will be free.
Local coach from Embalenhle Mr General Phomane, thanked coach Mayoyo and Marina de Lange of player management agency for making the event successful and wished the 14 chosen team well.
