Obri Msibi better known as Tyrese ‘The Black King’ from Leslie/Leandra in Mpumalanga is a music collector and Radio DJ on online Radio Station, Eastern Highveld FM every Sunday between 12h00 to 15h00pm.
He will be playing at the big event called Soul Train Beach Party at Carnival City on the 9th November 2019. The Black King will sharing the stage with the Radio DJ Legends such as Bob Mabena, Wilson B Nkosi, Thabo Mokwela, Sentle Lehoko, Mo G, Mbambo Johnson and Msizi Shembe.
The live performances will be Simmy, Prince Kaybee and Mlindo The Vocalist. Msibi thanked Soul Train Beach party organizers who invited him to play, Mojalefa Moeketsane and Mongezi just to name a few. “In this music industry you have to work with people, love your work and respect others. “No matter what you have achieved in life, support other djs and event organizers.
Work hard your turn will come,” said Msibi who also mentioned that music is unity because it brings people together. His future plans include hosting the same events in Govan Mbeki Municipality in order to grow artists and djs in all genres.
“We have lots of talents in our townships, but there is no support from Municipality and other relevant departments,” Msibi concluded.
