Police in Bethal are in search of the suspects matching the facial composition for robbery and theft which happened on separate occasions in Bethal.

It is alleged that the suspects aged between 30 and 40 years driving in a white VW Polo with three wearing blue work suite and one wearing red jersey with blue jeans stopped for victims who were hitch-hiking at the hiking spot to Ermelo and offered them lifts.

While in the car, the driver turned to Kippen Road and told the victims that he just want to collect someone on that road.

Few meters on the Kippen road, the suspect who was sitting next to the victims started to assault him and took the victims’ cellphone and money, handcuffing them and leaving them in the field.

After the matter was reported to the police for investigation, Detective Constable Xolani Khuzwayo from Bethal general detective engaged the criminal record and crime scene management for composition whereby Warrant Officer Matsoso attached to Witbank Local Criminal Record Centre was responsible for the facial composition.

Police are therefore urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact Detective Constable Xolani Khuzwayo on 0825790177.
