Miss Sons and Daughters of Love Teaching and Worship Center (SADOLTWOC) 2022 was the 1st edition of Miss SADOLTWOC pageant.

SADOLTWOC, a non-profit organization which is situated in Leandra hosted a successful beauty pageant on Saturday, 26 February 2022, in celebration of Valentine’s month.

Thandeka Mpando was crowned Queen meanwhile Nalendi Mashigo takes the title of second princess and Ayanda Madonsela being the first princess.

In her acknowledgment speech, Mpando said, “young people must learn to handle disappointments.

We must learn to share things which bother us with people we trust.

We should also learn to accept things we cannot change and always try again if we fail”, added Madonsela.

“The purpose of our orgainsation is to teach children and youth about the dangers of substance abuse, teenage pregnancy, bullying, Gender based violence and peer pressure.

The aim of the beauty pageant was to raise funds to register with the Mpumalanga Scouts and buy uniform”, said Mrs Linah Mahlangu, founder of SADOLTWOC

Mahlangu further stated that she is on a mission to remove children from the streets.

The contestants were coached by Miss Ngobile Mnguni.

Mnguni said she loved working with the contestants because they were committed in their training.

“It was so easy to work with these beautiful ladies and those who did not get crowned today must never lose hope.

They must know that they are all beautiful, smart and witty and they still stand a chance in future”, Mnguni concluded.
