Embalenhle gospel artist, Vusi Mtshweni is nominated for the Mpumalanga Gospel Music Awards as the best newcomer and best song of the year, on the song titled ‘Ntaba suka’.
Mtshweni recently launched his album ‘King dominion’ at Embalenhle Alliance Community Church.
His singing career traces back to 1998 singing in a boys’ choir at the age of seven.
He also worked with Umthombo ka Joshua where they won a competition ran by the maskandi artist, Bheki Ngcobo (also known as Ihashi elimhlophe) in 2004.
Mtshweni who is also a member of EACC said, “Our church helped with the recording of my album.
I am a very passionate young man who wants to minister and win souls for God via gospel music.
I serve God with my gift and would like to see lives being changed, the sick getting healed, the lame walking, the deaf hear and the blind receiving their sight as I worship God. I truly believe that God is not a respecter of man, if He was able to raise Jesus in an area that was despised, surely He can raise someone from eMbalenhle.”
