Thasasa (PTY) Ltd through their CSI corporate social investment pillars of driving sustainable social impact in their host communities where they operate, sponsored the June month youth tournament hosted by YEYA art and culture sports foundation in Extension 1, Embalenhle.
The soccer-focused event, which ran from June 6, 2026, concluded on June 20, 2026, with Iskhalo Samajita crowned champions. The event featured live entertainment by artists Jobe London and Dj Gcokama.
The tournament marked a major milestone in Thasasa’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) program.
“One of our CSI pillars is the commitment in driving sustainable social impact that creates hope and opportunities for the youth in our host communities, by uplifting the standard of living that will go towards addressing all social ills such as substance abuse, crime, teenage pregnancy and youth unemployment,” said Mr Tumelo Moagi, Thasasa’s Community Liaison Officer.
Thasasa remains committed to take part in Sports development and community upliftment by sponsoring Sports projects in the community and forging more collaborations with other interested stakeholders.
