The alleged murders of Kinross taxi owner appeared before the Delmas high court on Monday, 03 October 2022.
Sfiso Buyani Buthelezi, khulekani Hlanganani Masondo and Ellias Jacob Mhlanga all appeared before the Delmas High court on four (4) counts charges.
Sfiso Buthelezi who is the first suspect is alleged to have been hired by Ellias Mhlanga who is said to be the mastermind behind the murder of Mr Khumalo.
Khulekani Masondo is said to be the friend of Buthelezi who is identified as one of the accused amongst those who ambushed Khumalo at his home together with the 204 and one Mr Samasca who is currently on the loose.
The three are facing charges for the murder of the late Mr Fanni Khumalo who was gunned down outside his home in Kinross where he was preparing his taxis to transport commuters when he was ambushed by armed man.
He was shot several times and left for dead in November 2021.
The three (3) are facing charges of Conspiracy to commit murder, Murder, Unlawful possession of a fire arm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
The case has been postponed at the Delmas high Court to resume for trial on 28 August 2023, meanwhile the accused suspects are remanded in custody.
