Charl Cilliers Police hosted a kick-off match on the 23 July 2022 between the Warriors and Amabhoza local teams under the theme “Don’t be a victim #be the change you want to see”.

The match was a tight one tight one, both teams chasing a trophy only one of them could win.

Although warriors presented a strong defense and goal keeper saved all goals during the first half of the match Amabhoza brought their “A” game and scored the winning goal.

Amabhoza won 1 – 0 to worriers.

Warrior’s team players received silver medals and Amabhoza the winning team received gold medals and a trophy.

The purpose of the event was to re-launch the Community Police Forum (CPF), to welcome and introduce the new station commander Captain Nathi Khanyile as well as the unveiling of the Charl Cilliers Police station billboard.

Certification of appreciation was also handed over to different stake holders and community members who play a vital role in helping the police.
