Khwezilokusa Mthembu’s involvement in a car accident saw him developing a passion of being an entrepreneur and also a motivational speaker.
Khwezi was born in Emsinga, Kwazulu Natal and moved to eMbalenhle at the age of 5.
He attended his primary school education at Lifalethu, high school at Kiriyatswane and later proceeded to Vaal University of Technology, Secunda branch.
“I started working for Sasol at a very young age of 19, after I dropped out of Varsity because of financial problems,” said Khwezi who was a Mechanical Engineering Student and always excelled in his studies.
He was then employed as a process controller for Sasol.
After he survived an accident he went back to work, but for another job.
“I left my comfortable job and a good salary without knowing exactly what I will be doing,” Khwezi narrated.
While he was still trying to find his passion, he fell in love with graphic design and entrepreneurship that
saw him opening his printing business.
Even though he enjoys his graphic design job and owns a printing company, Khwezi feels that he is more passionate in giving motivational talks.
He does motivational speaking and his recent big event was when he was invited to speak at the World Aids Day in Pretoria.
He also visits schools and speak to learners with the hope that they will learn something from his life experience.
“I also aim to teach young people to tell their own stories.
“I would like to tell young people who would not have the opportunity to go to the university that they can still make it in life,” added Khwezi.
On the 27th of October he will be hosting his third seminar and will be joined by three young girls who participated at the public speaking events in school.
