35 -year-old man was arrested by the Kinross police for allegedly raping his girlfriend’s 10-year-old daughter from 2021 till March 2025.
The girl was noticed by the teachers who informed the social worker.
Upon investigation, a social worker took all the necessary measures to ensure that she was medically checked, and then a case of rape was opened. Hence, he was arrested on Thursday, 13 March 2025.
girl was said to have been afraid to speak out about her sexual abuse because the suspect threatened her with a gun.
It is alleged he also sexually abused her in the presence of her asleep drunk mother.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Evander Magistrate court soon.
