A 63-year-old woman from eMbalenhle ext 17 is still in trauma after a young man broke into her house on Friday, 04 July 2025 at about 23h30.
According to the old woman, the young man knocked at her door demanding entry into the house. Realizing that the door was not open, he broke the window to gain entry.
In panic, the old woman hid herself in the garage underneath a car and called for help using her phone.
Community members came out to her rescue and searched for the man inside the house. After a long search, he was found in bed naked, covering himself with blankets, and his clothes on the ground.
When the community found him, they assaulted him. He was alleged to have been admitted to the Hospital after the incident.
Gogo alleged that she tried to open a case with the police but was told to wait for the suspect to come back from the hospital.
