The murder case against the Mathunywa sisters who allegedly conspired with their two co-accused to kill their mother, Wanter Dlamini is set to resume trial today, Monday 29 Jabuary 2024 after if was postponed last week Wednesday.

Valencia Nonhlanhla Mthunywa, Nombuso Philadephia Ndwandwa , Steen Silo Mashakeng and Bathabile Mthunywa are charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, theft , rape, fraud and defeating the ends of justice .

The matter was set down for trial to proceed on 24 January 2024, However the new legal representative for accused 4 requested time to consult with her client in preparation for trial.

This is after the accused terminated services of her previous legal representative .

All parties involved agreed to postpone the matter to Monday 29 January 2024 for trial .

The case is in connection with the incident which happened in January 2020 in Barberton where the deceased body was discovered dumped at a local dumping area near the abator.
