Sphamandla Mkhwanazi’s passion for art was realized at a very young age when he used to build mud houses, cars and animals.
In his teenage years he transformed his art into drawing cartoons he saw from magazines and newspapers.
Mkhwanazi who hails from the rural areas of Mpumalanga, Mayflour and now resides in Kinross, Ext 25 (also known as Afghan) is also a Hospitality NQF Level 4 Nkangala Tvet College graduate.
Even though he studied for hospitality, he did not deter from his art passion.
“I currently have my own tattoo business and provide quality work,” said Mkhwanazi who works from home and also provide business at the comfort of his clients’ homes.
He further mentioned that some of his clients knows what they want, while others needs advices on where they can do them and what kind of tattoos they can make.
Mkhwanazi is not a new comer in the business since he started operating in 2011.
“I do tattoos for the love of art and make a living out of it,” added Mkhwanazi who also mentioned that his parents supported his vision of being an artist.
