Mongezi Mkhwanazi appeared at Bethal Magistrate Court after being arrested for allegedly killing his grandmother and drank her blood.
The whole incident was said to have happened on Tuesday, 06 September 2022, outside the deceased yard whereby the suspect allegedly stabbed his grandmother at the gate and dragged her back into the house.
Some people alleged that they saw the suspect drinking blood from the deceased before he could drag her back into the house and later left the house naked walking down the street.
When asked what kind of a person the suspect is, those who know him referred to him as a good person who was very close to his grandmother, but his behaviour was said to have changed after he lost his job.
After appearing at court and denied bail, it was alleged that Mongezi is not mentally stable and was sent to psychometric test evolution.
The results reported that Mongezi is healthy and not mentally ill.
Mongezi will appear at Bethal Magistrate Court whereby he will be issued with the High Court date for trail.
