Mr Fananyana Sibanyoni was re-elected Mpumalanga provincial chairperson of South African National Taxi Council (Santaco). The elections took place at Verena on Wednesday, 29 November.
This happened just after he was also re-elected Vukanini Taxi Association (Vukta) Chairperson few weeks ago.
Both Santaco and Vukta members said the reason behind his reappointment was his leadership skills and knowledge of working with people.
Mr Sibanyoni was said to have brought positive results within the taxi industry, both locally, provincially and nationally. He also holds the position of Public Relations Officer at Santaco nationally.

Taaibosch congratulated him and further mentioned that it is the first time the taxi industry have a leader of such calibre.
“I see a brighter future for Mpumalanga. “Mr Sibanyoni is an outstanding leader,” said Mr Taaibosch who added that Mr Sibanyoni is very focused, disciplined and has much respect for other people.
