Project Support South Africa (PSASA), a non-profit organization based in Govan Mbeki, implemented the Adolescence Young People (AYP) Programme, funded by the global fund implemented by the AIDS Foundation South Africa.
The program aims at capacitating and empowering adolescent young people in our communities with behavioral change programs, information, and clinical services provided by the AYP program.
The program has components for male sexual partners of adolescent young women, where PSASA provides them with clinical services.
PSASA, in partnership with Philasande NGO, hosted adolescent and young people’s sexual reproduction health, rights, and economic emancipation indaba on 19 June 2024 at Raymond Mavuso Hall.
The aim of the engagement was to capacitate young people with information on health issues, their rights, and economic strengthening opportunities from different stakeholders that were present on the day.
