Sfiso Michael Nkosi appeared before the Evander Magistrate court on Monday, 18 November 2024 after he was nabbed by members of the flying squad unit in the North West province.
Nkosi is in custody in connection with the shooting of a female Constable (32) and a male victim (35).
The incident reportedly occurred in Embalenhle on Wednesday night, 13 November 2024 around 22h00.
According to information at police desposal, the Police at Embalenhle received reports of gunshots in the area.
Upon arrival at the scene, Police and emergency medical personnel found the two victims lying next to a vehicle, with serious gunshot wounds.
The male victim has since succumbed to his injuries in hospital on 14 November 2024.
The motive for this incident remains unknown at this stage and it will be part of the probe however Domestic Violence cannot be ruled out.
The case was postponed to Thursday, 21 November 2024 for a formal bail application.
