A close relative of Themba (suspect) informed Seskhona Newspaper that he was arrested and will appear at Secunda Magistrate Court on Monday, 14 January.
Themba was suspected of killing Mihle Zinganto from eMbalenhle and the community torched his home accusing the police of not doing their job.
According to our source, the DNA test came back positive, hence the arrest.
Another relative of Mihle Zinganto confirmed that they were informed of the arrest.
Seskhona Newspaper contacted the Mpumalanga Police Spokesperson, Brig Leonard Hlathi who responded that they will release an official statement on Monday.
