The police received a complaint from a community member on Monday, 8 November 2021 at about 3.50 am.
According to the police, the complainant reported that she found her neighbour lying in a pool of blood inside her house.
This was after the neighbour went to the deceased house being concerned about the loud music.
On arrival, the police found a 27-year-old white female lying in a pool of blood with an open wound on her neck.
The police summoned paramedics and she was certified dead on the scene.
Police received information that the deceased was drinking with her boyfriend throughout the night and were with their 3-year-old baby.
The boyfriend allegedly disappeared with the baby and later dropped the baby at his sister’s house in Secunda.
The police are investigating a case of murder, no one is linked to the murder yet and no arrest has been made so far.
