KINROSS – Two young men were attacked by residents in Kinross Ext 25, for allegedly stealing a cellphone.
The incident happened on Thursday, 26 April at around 8.30am.
The victims tried to seek refuge in one of the nearby homes, but were overpowered by the mob.
According to Kinross police, no one was arrested and the two victims were rushed to the hospital.
Kinross Police Station Commander, Capt Elmes further mentioned that it is up to the victims to open a case when they get discharged from the hospital.
