KINROSS – The Kinross library hosted Laerskool Kinross Grade R learners for library
orientation recently.
The aim of the orientation was to encourage children at an early age to visit the library.
The little ones were taken on a tour, shown sections they can visit whenever they visited the library.
A story was read to them and they were asked to participate at the end of the reading.
“The aim of this event is to groom these young ones to get used to reading and know how to use the library,” said one of the employees.
The Kinross library has a yearly program planned for Laerskool Kinross from grade R to grade 3.
