Van Stadens Dam Primary School in Charl Cilliers is getting renovated by the Department of Basic Education.
The school was said to have been in existence as from 1941 and catered for children in farm areas.
The school previously accommodated few learners and the classrooms were no longer conducive for learning.
Now they have fully furnished mobile classes, new classes built and the old classrooms gets renovated.
They also have tiled floors and new furniture.

School Principal, Ms Nomsa Kunene said this year the admitted the first group of Grade 7 learners.
