As part of Freedom Day celebration, the community of Azania in Embalenhle gathered together at a local soccer field to pray for peace in Azania Section on Thursday, 27 April 2023.
The purpose of the prayer was to cast out the criminal activities in the area, stop division amongst community members, Gender Based violence and to promote the development of Azania section.
Pastors, Traditional leaders and ward councillor Vilakazi honoured the invite to the prayer.
Mr Moloto said the prayer is not only based to Azania section but the whole of Embalenhle because most sections are facing the same challenges when it comes to crime.
Church members sang praises and prayed meanwhile traditional leaders danced to beats of drums as they sang along practicing their tradition.
