The Baobab Networking Centre is delighted to announce its project; ‘the winter donation drive’.

The project will commence from April to June 2022 with the aim of spreading warmth to the needy as the winter season is coming ahead.

“We will be running the winter donation drive from April to June 2022, providing food security and other necessities to households in the disadvantaged communities within Tshwane.

“We will also host a Soup Kitchen as well as provide our special (HAPPY BOX) to the families that have been selected as beneficiaries.

“We as the Baobab family, touching lives is what we always live for, that is why we started this new project,” said Nonceba Nqaba, Sponsorship Coordinator at Baobab Networking centre.

The non-profit organisation’s main focus is to create technology awareness, poverty alleviation, health-related awareness issues, skills development and support with school uniforms and equipment maintenance in immensely disadvantaged communities such as deep rural, informal settlements and farm schools.

The centre aims to grow and support the communities with more and hopefully have much more support from corporates, individual donors and the government.

“Our plan is to have our own school that will be in support of our initiatives and making sure that the youth is given the right information and resources to equip them for the future, especially with the changes done by technology in the world.

“Let us join hands and work together for a better future and help us reach families by supporting us with donations,” Nonceba said.

Anyone who is willing to help and donate non-perishable food parcels, sanitary towels, toiletries and more can drop them at 1090 Infotech Building, Arcadia Street, Hatfield, Pretoria or Baobab will come to collect the items at your doorstep.
